Institutional Strengthening
The Company has extensive experience in the development of effective management structures, including regulating documents and management systems in the spheres of governance, transport, public services (housing, water supply, and irrigation), etc. The scope of services the Company has provided in this area includes the development of urban transport policy for Yerevan, traffic management, road safety strategy for Armenia and Yerevan, development of recommendations on improvement of the level of organization of activities of governance systems of various levels in line with the changes observed in social-economic and political aspects, as well as in the public administration system. In this field of operation, the Company's expertise also includes the development of MIS and the introduction of management systems in the sphere of local government.
Engineering Design and Construction Supervision
Adinfosys MI has an extensive track record, gained over many years in planning of urban and rural infrastructure development, preparation of road design documents according to international (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, EIB) and Armenian standards, construction supervision and design control, feasibility studies, planning and analysis, administration of FIDIC contracts, etc. The Project Team are renowned for working with local and international financial institutions, project owners, international organizations and governments providing technical due diligences for a wide variety of infrastructure investments throughout Armenia.
In addition to a wide range of consulting service, AdInfoSys MI is experienced in providing integrated engineering solution for rehabilitation and construction of roads and bridges, irrigation systems (pump stations, irrigation canals, gravity systems), undertaking feasibility studies, environmental and social impact assessment, calculation of ERR and Benefit-Cost Ratio, preliminary and detailed designs, quantity and cost estimates, preparation of schemes for organization of construction works, construction supervision and design control, supervision of defect liability period, etc.
On top of the wide range of services, AdInfoSys Management Institute has good experience in construction supervision and defection notification and supervision services during defects liability period, undertaking technical supervision of construction works, project performance and quality control, design control, examination, verification, validation and assessment to ensure that infrastructures are constructed according to specification requirements; site supervision in accordance with legal construction requirements, audits, site and production assessment visits, monitoring or witnessing of activities, including safety and quality functions and reporting, non-destructive testing supervision, delivered documentation supervision; technical and legal consulting, as-built documentation, etc.
Surveys and Feasibility Studies
Under implementation of various internationally and locally financed projects, the Company conducted a wide range of feasibility studies covering the areas of local government and management systems, public transport, passenger (boarding/alighting, visual occupancy, etc) and household surveys, traffic counts (counts and analysis of the existing traffic flow, forecasts of traffic flow by types of vehicles and public transport modes, etc), traffic management and road safety (road safety design and audits, signage and markings, etc), local services such as water supply and irrigation, waste water, as well as surveys ranging from detailed measurement surveys, site investigations, geotechnical and hydro geological surveys etc.
In particular, under the Design and Construction Supervision for Rehabilitation of Tertiary Canals (more than 300km) funded by Millennium Challenge Corporation (USA) (MCC/MCA-Armenia) the company implemented topographical, hydrological and hydraulic studies, materials surveys and other in-situ and laboratory testing to test the materials for the rehabilitation of tertiary canals.
Environmental and Social Assessment
AdInfoSys Management Institute is well familiar to ADB, WB and other IFI guidelines and Safeguard polices and has proven experience in preparation of environmental assessment and resettlement action plans for /, road construction supervision, Irrigation systems /Millennium Challenge Corporation/Armenia.
Within a number of IFI financed project the Company conducted a wide range of environmental surveys and studies encompassing climate data and climate conditions land characteristics, etc.
Under a number of infrastructure projects (road and bridge, irrigation, public transport, etc) implemented by the Company, environmental impact assessments were conducted and environmental management and social management plans prepared.
Among other services with environmental component, the Company is well experience in organizing public hearings, consultations and presentations with participation of both with national and local government authorities and with urban and rural community inhabitants discussing environmental and resettlement issues under various infrastructure projects.
Training, Consulting and Management
During 40 years of its operation the Company undertook administration and management of a large number of international and local projects of various spheres funded both by RA Government and by such IFIs as ADB, WB, USAID, MCC and others.
The services provided by the Company covered training of, consultation and information services to such target groups as state officials, local authorities, populations (citizens), urban and rural communities, condominiums, general public and private companies, etc, including preparation and publishing of training and teaching, methodical and other materials and guide books.
